The Same Thing You Thought Hard About

Tuning : 1/2 Down for the Amsterdam radio show, otherwise standard

The intro is something like what's written below, but I think "tab" is
pretty mindless and I just don't have the patience for it.  The chords
are right, some of them are just strummed partially and more than once.  Mess
around with it and you'll have it.  It's eerily similar to Hannah and Gabbi.
On one of the shows Evan was doing something slightly different, but this is
basically the progression.  He always fucks it up anyway, so don't feel bad
if you do.

E--0-----0---0--0--3---3--3--3-
B--2/7---5---7--5--3---3--3--3-
G--2/7---7---6--6--0---0--0--0-
D--0-----0---0--7--0---0--0--0-
A------------------x---2--x--2-
E------------------3------3----

I play the "A" chord in this song like this:

E---5                                                      E---5
B---2                                                      B---3
G---2    but this also sounds cool in some places:      G---2
D---2                                                      D---2
A---0                                                     A---0
E---x                                                      E---x

Bm
Another joke at my expense
 A
I can't believe where the time went
          G
Or how the past became the present tense
Bm                     A
It's all going out for me

 Bm
A trap door underneath my shoe
 A
I stepped aside to let her loose
 G
I stepped aside to let her through
Bm                      A               G
It's all blowing out to sea

(G) and the (D) same thing you thought (G) hard about
(G) is the (Bm) same part i cant (G) live without

I can't believe how far I slid
But secretly I'm glad I did
I can't believe how far I slid
I guess I had to see

A broken heart and two black eyes
But you should see the other guy
Forget it how, forget it why
It's all blowing out to sea

And the same thing you thought hard about
Is the same part I can live without
